He ran his own consultancy for seven years before Benchmark Craft, delivering production systems for clients in higher education administration, mobile commerce, and hospitality.

Damon did graduate work in computational linguistics at the University of Cologne before LLMs made distributional semantics a mainstream engineering concern.
